Real Techniques Brushes - From left to right we have the blush brush, the expert face brush, and the contour brush (which is part of the Core Collection). These are absolutely amazing! I love Real Technique brushes, and those above were my favorites for the month of April. The blush brush bristles are so soft - they’re perfect for ultra pigmented blushes. And the contour brush? Perfect size for sculpting the cheek bones! (Bonus: the brush holder is also handy for drying brushes upside down after you clean them!)
The Balm Bahama Mama Bronzer - I skipped contouring altogether in the past because I felt like I didn’t have the right brush for that purpose. I bought the set of Real Techniques brushes that includes the contour brush, and now I’ve been using this lovely Bahama Mama Bronzer religiously! I use this bronzer as a sculpting tool because it’s matte (no shimmer at all) and is dark enough to use to contour under my cheek bones.
Clinique Brush On Cream Liner - The super pro about this? Stays creamy in the pot! Other pots will dry up on you (or so I’ve heard). This will NOT! I promise! I’ve had this sitting in my drawer for a little while now because I was using my liquid liners instead and I’m happy that this liner is still workable and creamy. I forgot how much I loved using cream/gel liner on my eyes. Certainly much more easier than liquid eyeliner in my opinion, but everyone is different.Â
Wet n Wild Blush in Heather Silk - The color is the main reason why I’ve kept this in my daily makeup bag. Because spring has sprung, I’ve just been into bright pinks! And just look at that color!Â

I think it’s the cute little bottles and the white caps that make these my favorite high end nail polish brand. Having a wide array of colors with such funny names is also a plus!
I just bought these polishes right in time for spring and summer! From left to right: Bikini So Teeny, Lovie Dovie, and Sugar Daddy. I was due for a nail polish change so I immediately did my nails. Here’s a swatch of Bikini So Teeny below.

Got to say, I’m pretty excited that the sun is now out to play. That means bright lips and nails are here!
Sephora’s birthday gift this year.Â

Sorry for my lack of posts. I’ve been a little uninspired and also have been “shopping my stash” so to say to try to save a few bucks with my unhealthy make up buying addiction ;)Â
But I still have a few favorites here to show you!
Shiseido Lash Curler - OMG. I have been using an eyelash curler from Victoria Secret for the past 3 or 4 years and a Revlon curler before that. I have very asian eyes and straight asian lashes, and I’ve never had an eyelash curler that curled like this! It curls every single lash of mine because this curler hugs my eye shape perfectly since it is intended for that flatter kind of eye shape. If you’re like me, you should definitely try this out. Major difference for sure!
Physicians Formula Eye Booster Liquid Eyeliner - The best for the most precise liquid eyeliner application. I use this to make thin lines and super straight winged out lines. This is probably beneficial for those who have hooded eyelids like me and don’t have a ton of lid space to begin with. I don’t like when all you can see is my eyeliner with my eyes open, so having a really thin tip on this liquid liner is perfect.
Revlon Colorstay Foundation - The one I have is formulated for the oily/combination skin. I still suffer from acne scarring/marks and this foundation really does stay put the entire day! It’s medium to full coverage, which I like because I can still sheer it out if I wanted to, but still build up the coverage when I need.Â

TRESemme Salon Silk Serum - I bought this in the middle of February and have been using it for about two weeks now and I like it. I was mainly looking for something to help take care of my long hair. I have stick straight asian hair, but I do get split ends and frizz at the ends when I don’t take care of it. This serum faintly smells of the TRESemme hairspray, which I love, but the smell doesn’t linger. I shower at night and apply a couple pumps of this to my wet ends and I think it does a good job in keeping it silky.Â
Real Techniques Brow Brush - This brush comes with a set at Ulta. I instead use this brush to smudge eyeliner and it is one of the softest brushes I’ve ever used!Â
Revlon Lip Balm Stain in Honey - I had the other color (Crush) in my favorites last month, but this month I’ve been gravitating towards this. It’s so easy to apply and the color gives a slight pink to the lips. It’s a friendly morning lipstick when you’re in a rush to get out the door.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero - Showing up again for the second time on my favorites post! I have been using smudged pencil eyeliner instead of liquid eyeliner for a couple weeks now. Paired with the Real Techniques Brow Brush and bam! I am loving the look of soft, smudgy eyeliner at the moment!Â
I tried to go a month without buying anything beauty product related, but there you go. There’s always an excuse for something!
