Every time I get ready I have to conceal my dark under eyes. These are the products I use almost everyday.
Erase - Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Treatment Concealer ($9)  - I just repurchased this product because it’s that good. I use the Real Techniques sponge to erase my dark under eye circles. Blends like a dream!
Brighten - Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer ($8) - I just bought this, but I love it already. It can brighten my under eyes even more and helps me look fresh and awake.
Set - NYX HD Studio Finishing Powder ($10) - This silica based translucent powder helps set my concealer in place so it lasts all day.

I love winged eyeliner. Love. Cannot, absolutely cannot, go without it.
I found this mini brush from EcoTools at Ulta, which came with this pack. It’s so miniature that it’s good at making thin lines on my eyes. It is super duper teeny, which might not work well for you, but I personally love this. This might be suitable for chicks with hooded eyelids just like me.

I made small MUG purchase, and this by far was my favorite. Here is Vegas Lights pigment by Makeup Geek in all of it’s sparkly glory.

Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag!

I was tagged by the lovely Flor of Lipstick & Stockings to answer a few questions about beauty and procrastination!

1.  Name a beauty regime that you rarely do.

Hmmm. Base coat. I NEVER do base coat. I just hit my nails with straight up color and finish with a fast drying top coat. I love pretty nails, but I’m too impatient (or lazy/efficient!) for all of that!

2. Is washing your make-up brushes something you do regularly?

Kind of. I try to wash at least 3 brushes a week so I don’t have to do everything at once. Because everything at once is too tiring, and my hands become all wrinkly, and my body starts to ache in front of the sink while I’m scrub scrub scrubbing away, and it’s just too much! It’s a real struggle I tell ya!

3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?

A few minor chips? Maybe 4 or 5 days. If it’s really bad then I HAVE to remove it immediately. It’s an eyesore that I can’t look at.

4. How long do you put off buying/replacing a beauty or nail polish product, even if you need it? (ex: purchasing a new top coat or foundation).

If it’s reason to buy something then I’m all about it!

5. What is your worst beauty habit?

I go with Flor here and say picking at my face until I’m satisfied… yes, let’s not judge each other on that! I feel like we all can relate here!

6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off all the time.

Putting back folded laundry.

7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready to the last minute?

Getting ready is the first thing I do. I find it fun to do most of the time, especially if I’m going somewhere exciting. Music helps too.

8. Can you commit to a spending ban?

Makeup related items, I can probably go about 3 weeks. Or maybe even a month! I have a small-ish collection. I oftentimes feel guilty when some products don’t see the light of day! However, if I run out of a product that I need then I’ll usually purchase right away.

9. How organized is your make-up and nail polish collection?

It’s small and organized, but not the way I’d like it to be. I would definitely like to have the small Alex drawer unit one day.

10. What is the longest amount of time you have gone without writing a blog post?

I think it was something like 6 or 7 months. My computer was stolen a while back and I had no means of getting on my blog. Plus I had a new job and my time was eaten up by work.

The Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfecter ($13) has been on my need to try this list for a while. I finally bit the bullet and bought this because I was looking for a new foundation and I am really liking this!
The color is a bit light for me, but a little bronzing powder aides in warming up my face. For a BB cream, this is nicely pigmented and covers up well. I like using my fingers to blend this into my skin. Loving this very much at the moment!

A few weeks ago, Ulta had a 40% off NYX sale, so I was able to snag some things on my wish list. I haven’t played around with these yet, but I’m excited to incorporate these products into my makeup bag. I love highlighters and am a little obsessed over matte lipsticks (or lipstick in general I should say). From my swatches, these lippies felt smooth and creamy, and also had a sweet scent.

Nothing like a small haul pick me up!

Talk to you soon!

Empties: I like to tell you about things I actually use up. Let’s face it, I love beauty items and probably own too much for one person. If I finish up a product, that probably means I truly adore it!
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser: This under eye concealer is the bomb dot com and I think you’ll like this too. This blendable, high coverage, and budget friendly beauty item has been one of my favorites for a long time now. I’ll be zombie-like If I don’t apply just a little of this in the mornings. I have really dark under eyes and this magical potion in a bottle is a wondrous thing!

My eyeshadow’s saving grace and my favorite eye primer at the moment is Too Faced Shadow Insurance ($20). We all know the midday struggle when we look into the bathroom mirror only to find our shadows creased until there is no tomorrow.
